The russian empire currently uses traditional communist camo planes, and khaki troops...but it just doesn't match...I think it would look better if they had the german style grey troops.

There needs to be some Easy distinction between all troops, otherwise the skins won't matter(They do). if you cannot tell the different units apart on the map, it makes it hard to see who is an ally and who is an enemy(also a reason I advocate for more skins).

Also it makes it easy to lose your troops in friendly land, lol.

Put no... But that doesn't mean I do not like the idea, it's just that having them in the same color as ze Germans would not look better, in my opinion, and would make it harder to distinguish between german and Russian troops. Besides, Russia didn't use plain grey uniforms, to my knowledge...

"Field grey," or feldgrau in German, was the official color of the Prussian army uniforms from 1910, and all German armies from 1916, until 1945. When the new post-war West German army (Bundeswehr) was formed in 1956, it adopted olive drab battle dress that was similar to American combat uniforms of the era, and gradually distinguished their uniforms over time. Although the Bundeswehr has adopted "Class A" dress uniforms in a light grey which bear some resemblance to the WWII-era field grey uniforms of the Wehrmacht, their current battle uniforms include mottled green-brown and mottled khaki-brown camouflage patterns, and generally resemble other NATO combat uniforms.
Field grey uniforms remain closely associated with the German armies of 1910-45, and to my knowledge, no other major army of that era wore battledress uniforms of a similar color, with the exception of the small and short-lived Austrian army of the interwar years.
