Screwed Ship Production Times

For the most part in 1.5 I have enjoyed the fact that you could produce capital ships at a much cheaper price then in 1.0. However, the production time is extremely messed up. Especially, for major capital ships like carriers and battleships. I propose raising up the production times of all the ships in general. Short productions time have unbalanced the game to a certain extent. Players can literally build six battleships in 1 day if they have level 5 naval base. Meanwhile, it would take months to build ships in World War II.

Destroyers:

Naval Base Lv 1:

Lv 1:6 hours

Lv 2:10 hours

Lv 3: 14 hours

Lv 4: 18 hours(I don't remember how many levels there were in a destroyer the number of hours will increase by 4 for any further levels)

Naval Base lv 2:

Lv 1:5 hours

Lv 2: 9 hours

Lv 3: 13 hours

Lv 4: 17 hours(see quotations above)

Naval Base Lv 3:

Lv 1: 4 hours

Lv 2: 8 hours

Lv 3: 12 hours

Lv 4: 16 hours(see quotations above)

Naval Base Lv 4:

Lv 1: 3 hours

Lv 2: 7 hours

Other changes:

Besides the production times, the skins should be changed as well. Currently all the carriers, cruisers, and destroyer have the same skin. The battleship skin of the Allies faction is in fact British instead of American. The cruiser skin is Italian and I think the destroyers skins are German and the Carrier skins are American.

And they should add different skin for higher lvl(lvl 4 and over) for naval and aircraft units.

Hey, thanks for the feedback. Did you also factor in the minimum production time of each unit? Level 2-5 naval base do not boost the production time of a level 1 ship for example. While for a ship level 2 only the naval base lvl2 will boost it. This is the same for all units btw.

Exception is when a province is on low morale, then the higher levels can also boost the times of lower levels, but only until the standard production time is reached as if there was no morale penalty.

Ships are built relatively fast for balancing reasons, to strenghten the naval gameplay.

Ships are built too fast I would say. They should definitely not take three days to build like required in Call of War 1.0. However, I think there should be a compromise in the middle because capital ships take such a short time to build it's not even funny. It's not necessarily balanced either. Someone can just build sixty level 2 battleships, while another navy would only have 8 high leveled battleships. This is extremely unfair for people who actually put the time and effort to build a fleet and only to see it get ruined by some player who only took one day to build 30 level 1 battleships.

I think subs, cruisers, and destroyers have a fine production time but capital ships like battleships or an aircraft carrier have far too short production times compared to ww2.

In the past submarines weren't as useful because everyone built many destroyers to protect their battleships. Now in most games submarines will have a field day because of beginners who basically only produce battleships.

Very true. I find this is the case so much nowadays
