maybe a "licence" boutton but you can't fire 1500 men just with a click
i don't now it's just an idea
What do you trolls, uh, I mean, gentlefolk think of a "scuttle" option for all units? Of course you can send units you don't want to die on some lonely battlefield but it can often be the case where you don't want a conflict. You might have units you no longer need because the theaters have changed or the units are badly damaged and you don't want to waste the upkeep cost. With far flung empires marching your units for days can take longer than building them at a new front.
Thoughts?

I like the idea of them being killed, wait, uh, sent 'home'.
I always have a problem getting rid of large groups of militia.
I get that the realism is lacking in the idea but, as it is often mentioned, fun>realism.
Not really. If I have some troops lying around consuming crap after a war, I demobilize them.
It would be reasonable to be able to retire units
Quite, quite.
Agreed. We should just be able to ship unwanted units "somewhere else".

Getting a little off topic here.
I quite like the idea of disbanding/scuttling, but I was also wondering about an option to just stopping paying the upkeep for units, causing them to decay and eventually die. I haven't experienced this myself, so I don't know the rates of decay.
