we have already, snipers, mg-gunner, riflemen, smg stormtroopers, AT Riflesmen, bazookamen, grenadethrower, subulterns, officiers, heavy mg gunners, small caliber mortars, and many many others weapons. That all is called INFANTRY REGIMENT.
Snipers
I think snipers should be added to the game. They should have a range of 20-25 and be available on day one. Unlike other units where you can research and produce to get a sniper you train a regular infantry in sniper school. The only problem is the will cost a lot so only the most powerful nations can afford them. They are hidden units and scout units and can only be revealed by other snipers and interceptors with the same or higher level.
Any thoughts you have on my idea please feel free to share them.

And Snipers ARE integrated in infantry regiments already.

If we assume that this game uses the metric system (kilometers) for distance then it makes no sense for a sniper to be able to murder someone from 20km away (the farthest kill a sniper got was 3,540 meters away.) And a range of 3.5 would be too insignificant for any ground unit worth spawning (at a range of 3.5 away, an infantry unit could likely reach you in around 2 minutes). The Irish man 123 wrote:

also remember snapping range for units can be approximated to 5-7 so it already is larger than the sniper's range stated by @iNot_here
