Spanish Guinea?

Why is Spanish Guinea not on the map, and its territory is France?

I know it would be small, but it would make the 1939 historic map more historic and give Spain another province.

Just wondering really.

"Balancing" I would guess. The devs have said before the map isn't made to be historically accurate, they try to make it fair first. I think we all know the Southern US wasn't a nation in WWII either, and the North would happily agree
