Stack label tags

A major quality of life improvement would be to revamp the stack label tags. Currently they tend to criss-cross each other willy nilly and it's very confusing to see what tag corresponds to what position. It would be much better if say there was a strong preference for all tags to go in a particular direction perpendicular to the road they are on and have some fixed settings for province centers. When there are collisions adjust tags away from the perpendicular relative to the center of mass of a particular cluster. If stacks are very close you could also alternate the perpendicular from one side to the other for adjacent stacks. I know collision control can be tough, but man it's kind of a mess right now.

Good ideas!

Another related issue is that patrolling planes can make it very difficult to select units located under the patrol. This is mostly on mobile, where the tap target is always a bit mushy.

While i fully agree, this is not an easy, press a few buttons, kinda thing, it will take a decent amount of time to even make sure it works.
