Stealth / Scout / Espionage "Bug" ?

Having an interesting situation that has be trying to figure out the game mechanics and I'm missing something.

Situation.

I have Lvl 3 Subs in enemy territory and the highest researched scout units he has are all Lvl 1 (Naval Bombers and DD's).

He should not be able to see my subs ever with his units.

On Day change, he must have gotten a "Reveal All Armies" on me and saw my subs, which were in range of his BB stack, which started firing at me at range. I move the subs out of range and he couldn't see them again. I know this because he and an ally of his had Lvl 1 NB's Ticking in the Air overhead, I was in their Blue Dots area of effect, but not taking damage.

Then when I moved the subs back through the spot where he Revealed their location at Day Change, his Lvl 1 BB with no DD's or NB's Lvl 3 or Higher... suddenly reacquired my Subs and started targeting them with Ranged Fire.

What game mechanic allowed Lvl 1 BB's, see Lvl 3 Subs 1 hour after Day change?

Just another example of poor programming. The spy reports can be used to designate targets for ranged units.

Perhaps you have seen BBs firing on an empty position, another error of this type.

Another seeming glitch with stealth units:

They are sometimes shown as "?" when in range of a unit of lower level. So they can be targeted, when they should not be seen at all.
