Stop making Canada Suck so bad
Why does this game minimize Canada so badly. As one of the largest food producers for the war why is it that there is only one Grain producing province. we should be at least equal to any European state. I realize this is a game but at least try to make the start even for all players. I am Canadian and have now been stuck with Canada in 2 matches now and I end up spending all my time buying food. as I have yet to ever get the core provinces to produce enough even with no troops. also it Should be noted that Canada was no weakling during the wars. and we were in it for a lot longer then our neighbours to the south. So please give us a little respect.

I already tried to penetrate the thick skull of Bytro's balance team for this 22-playermap. Unfortunately not with much succes. Main problem is as you stated that 1 food province doesn't provide enough food for your army, if you even manage to feed the civillians.

As a veteran player, I wholeheartedly agree. I've been stuck with Canada on the 22-player more times than I care to remember, and it sucks big time. ¿One grain province? ¿Are you kidding me? Canada today and back them was one of the leading grain exporters. Today it's second, behind the United States. 3 out of the 4 times or so I controlled Canada, I spent 90% of my money on food, meaning my military was pretty bad, so once I invaded the US, I was trapped, because I didn't have enough troops to land in Europe.
The past is a foreign country.

I agree, on the 10 player map at least, Canada doesn't get any food at all, i couldn't do anything until i researched tanks and now i can only produce those because the armies doesn't get food, because i don't have any food.

Canada was used as a bread basket of the British Empire, it had a great war economy and should be a nation players want to start with, and not try to avoid.

agreed. Canada was the only nation that kept Britain from Falling to the Nazi's at the being of the war. Plus we had the Fifth largest Navy in the World at that time. and looked after the whole of the North Atlantic. On this map Cuba have about the same resources as Canada.
