It seems there's little point setting up maps on training how to defeat AI's... and if you really want to, join the 22p starter maps and most players will fall inactive anyway.
Strategy testing
there should be an non-player version where you can set up a strategy and test it to see if your strategy works and it can be with any type of playable game versions (world war, tutorial, etc...)
please give me a feed back on this Idea I really think this would be helpful to me and many more players

I was thinking more like you can just test strategies and set up yours and the enemy troops and play it out to see what plan works and much more
Do you mean fighting AI or not?
he mean fighting himself.
yes I mean both you can either control the sides yourself or even set an AI to it
I have always thought that playing chess by yourself would be tremendously boring, I know that the mopping up phase of a map here in Cow after the enemies are defeated is equally boring, so I don't see much point in starting a whole map like that.

Since the initiation of elite AI and popularity it has been harder to fight the AI's- several of them will declare war on you in your popularity dives somewhere under 50% and they'll keep coming at you 24/7 ... In a previous game with Turkey in the 39 map, I spent a couple of nearly sleepless nights fighting five of them in Central Asia (e.g. Nationalist China, India, Russia, Xingiang and Mongolia at the same time) and was lucky to come on top ...
Been playing in the 39 historical map the last few games ... Currently I have a rather remote South Africa and I'm pursuing a strategy of long term development- expanding to countries where I can develop their rich resources ... A slightly different strategy may have been called if I was in Europe, or Eastern Asia. There I would have to improvise day by day depending on both hostile enemies and friendly allies ...
