I think it's an interesting feature, but maybe 70km would make it op?
strengths
hey there, well , first I will start saying the boring stuff that everybody nows. Right now in the countryside you can build fortifications up to level 3 and in the cities, you can build up bunkers to level 5, my point is that I think this is far from enough , in history there were a lot of strengths that had artillery cannons that could not move from their position, but that would automatically attack the enemy if it entered their range, I would like to propose the implementation of this structure that would appear after building your fortificaciรณn/bunker up to level 2, it would have 2 levels in the countryside and 3 in the city,
In the first to levels , it would only improve the damage and hit points , but in the third level, only available in cities, it would increase its range from 50km to 70km like a warship
I would like to propose a similar procedure for water, lets say for example in the narrow of Victoria (BC), this implementation would be not only historically correct but it would make the game in the ocean more enjoyable
of course you can't build fortification anywhere, only in designated pleases
feel free to critique me

I don't think so, historically speaking, there was a moment in which the German forces, built one of this in a mountain chain to destroy the allied artillery, the problem is that in the end the allied brought trops with a larger range of attack so they were quickly destroyed.
I did not choose the number for nothing, I choose 70km because it would steel be vulnerable to the railways, you know, that trop that has 100km of attack range, you could say that this is my way of giving my respects to this piece of history
Well, for gameplay purposes, I think 30 and 50 are more adjusted, but I see why you preferred 70.
thanks for commenting, even so, they wouldn't be able to move an inch, 50 I think is a little to low, there must be some kind of advantage to spend all the resources first in a fortification or bunker and then on this
apart from that, what do you think about the fortification in the water?
please keep commenting, I really like chatting like this with other players, I hate It when nobody rights down any comment
A province having an attack range is quite interesting, tbh. I don't think I know of a game that would give fortifications an offensive sense in their defensive role.
yes, and I think it is a waste, if you think is too OP we can say that is only available after level 3
but saying 4 or 5(making them only available in cities) I think is too much
and they still would be only good for defense, this would even introduce an interesting feature to the game
the resistance your trops have against structures, this is a feature that till now nobody has payed attention to
