I Agree with this comment as it will make the game better
Style of Government
There should be an option in the game to ave a certain government "style" For example, a dictatorship/communism gives lower morale but higher materiel production and troops production time. Capitalism would give higher morale and only average resource production with slow troops production speed.

Yes.
Things like this were already suggested and I don't this is a good idea. It wouldn't really bring any benefit, and all people would probably pick just one form of government anyway, the one with best bonuses. After all, this is not a history simulation.
It would be a Benefit on this game and on the Style you want to use to govern your people. It would make the game more realistic and enjoyable like in real life, Like Lower Morale for Communism and Higher Production of resources and building but Higher Morale for Capitalism but lower Production in resource production and troops production speed. And have 5 different types of Goverments in the game.
The game supposed to be that you can control your own People, Armies and Goverment as much as you want and have a different type of Political System that best suits you. It would make the game more interesting and better
Not really. It is about war. People, government, political system... that things are (mostly) ignored.Nickm wrote:

That would complicate the game too much and wouldn't bring any benefit. Game is not about being realistic, it is about fighting.Nickm wrote:

I honestly don't see how different forms of governments would bring anything new here. They would just introduce unneccesary complicated features which wouldn't affect gameplay too much or they would affect gameplay too much which is a bad thing, since being balanced is much more important than being realistic.
Fighting is a big part of the game, But there is a difference when your province builds stuff faster and you getting more money I know it shouldn't be realistic but when your fight war it depends on your goverment or Opposite. I'm not saying it should be a big part of the game but at least would make it more interestingParamunac wrote:

This seems like it is basically pulled straight from HOI 3. Whenever I play it, I pick the systems with the best benefits (as Paramunac said would happen) and then make war. So basically everyone will pick communism except for die-hard capitalists and build random junk, most likely forts everywhere.
Then they will all come here and complain about the rebellion system and low morale.
That an awful idea, cos communism wouldnt have a higher material productionMkmach7 wrote:

but other wise, this is a war game, I suggest you go and play "Cybernations" or War and Peace" etc

But higher morale will give you higher resource production to an extent. Lower morale will lower production.Mkmach7 wrote:

true
i agree
Might make an interesting variant on a team game, where each team members had to have the same gov't type to be combined on that team.
