Submarines v Aircraft

How is it, that a submarine can do damage to a bomber but not the other way around. If an enemy Submarine wolfpack has opened fire on my shipping off my coast, I direct my bombers to 'take em out' but they have no effect. What is worse, is I lose bombers and take damage. The submarine will have to surface to have a pop at a plane, so would be extremely vulnerable to bombers or fighters for that matter. This in-balance needs to be adjusted.

Regular bombers will have trouble taking on submarines. Naval bombers however do take out enemy submarines with relative ease, but patrolling appears to expose you to taking more return fire than straight on attack runs.

yes- i lost all 6 naval bomber v 20 submarines- the enemy submarines lost 4. the submarines were also fighting 3 battleships and a destroyer and 2 subs at the same time. 2nd engagement the 16 enemy submarines attacked 4 destroyers off my coast. i directed some coastline artillery at the enemy subs and sent in 2 waves of 6 medium bombers. lost 1 out of 6 bombers on first wave and aborted the 2nd wave before it reached the target. no point. seems to me submarines rule the sea....and the air.

I built 33 Level 6 naval bombers to kill 30 Subs also level 6 and none of the naval bombers lived but there where 5 subs left. i looked at the stats subs do 4.4 defence damage NB do 4.5 to subs and still all of my bomber died.

Seems to me -subs, anti tank guns and spy's in great numbers are all you need to win in this game.

To counter subs you use Naval bombers or destroyers: destroyers are the better option.

Spies are countered by counter-spies, or by spying on your foe.

Anti-guns are countered by Tact. bombers.

I would openly credit you on the forums if you managed to win a game using only those three units, and as such, I would change my strategy entirely.
