Suggestion: Jungle

For the new World Map, I think that Bytro should add a new terrain type: The Jungle

Historically, a big part of the Pacific front was the jungle terrain. The jungle was very alien to many American troops on the Pacific front, and the difficulty of fighting in the jungle made a great difference in the combat that ensued. Jungles exist many places in the world, from Central and South America, to islands in the Pacific, and even some parts of Africa. Therefore, they are an important feature that should definitely be included in this game.

I propose that jungles should be paired with mountains much like forests are paired with hills. They would have the same stat reductions as mountains: A decrease in speed for all units, and a -25% strength reduction for tanks. Commandos would also have the same 100% strength boost that they do in mountains, and be able to move at the same speed. So, what do you think? Please reply and like if you support this addition to the game.

I think this has been suggested already but it needs to be said again. PLEASE?

Definitely 'yay'. 'Nay' sounds stupid anyway.

The past is a foreign country.

i like the idea but my guess this terrain type is almost exclusive in Asia, south America and other parts of the world with jungles so i think the terrain wont be exploited or explored too much.

I actually quite like this idea and the implementation, it would make the whole pacific sections of the world map much harder to do without the dedicated support of nearby naval and air units, adding that extra fun/realism to campaigning in that area

Jajajaja, I agree Kalantigos. It would make Pacifica Oceania nations so much more fun to play as.

It's easy to approve of adding things when not doing the work yourself.... so I absolutely approve. :)

But seriously, I like it a lot.

I don't think this is necessary, but it wouldn't be bad if this was added.

They could literally reuse the same code from mountains and just change it so that the picture says "jungle" xD

simple enough for them i suppose.

I like this idea.

The Democratic Republic of Afghanistan(DRA) was founded in 1978 through a coup d'etat. Certain Muslim factions rebelled against the new government, and per the DRA's request the Soviet army deployed forces to the area.
Even now, in 1984, the Soviet's 40th Army and the self-proclaimed "Mujahideen" are still engaged in bitter conflict.

Good suggestion.

Love this idea! It would make the Pacific even more unique!
