If you're playing on mobile you can just use any kind of note app it has, or just open up a document on Google Docs or whatever and outline your plans there.
Suggestion: Self-Memo/Notes
- Hello, I am new to this game this week and 4 days in to my first round. I am enjoying it very much and play it on the go when I can but I can get scatterbrained sometimes and forget what my next steps were going to be.
- Often at night before I go to bed I will look at the map and tell myself, "OK, I've decided that tomorrow when this research is done I want to do this one next and when this unit and that unit is finished in cities X and Y then I want to produce these next and maybe I want to move troops to blah blah blah", just to wake up the next day and after work ask myself, "Wait, what in the hell was I going to do again?" I'm sure many of you young folk have much better memory than me but I feel like the first 5 or 10 minutes of every day's session is trying to figure out what my plan was again.
- My point being: it would be really nice to have some sort of note taking future to remind those of us who can't spend all day on the game what our next steps were. "Build an Airbase at Brussels ASAP"; "As.soon as the light tanks finish in Cairo make a tactical bomber"; "Hey, Germany's a pretty cool dude" et al.
- Or at the very least (and probably the easiest way to implement) is make it that so we can send diplomatic messages to our own country.
- I am a mobile user and maybe a feature like this exists that I'm not aware of, but it would be really helpful. So far, I have been setting notifications on my phone which has worked to an extent, but hopefully shouldn't be too difficult to implement in game.
Edit: Didn't mean to make the paragraphs bullet points, but there ya have it and there it shall stay.

As you get further in you will likely find that the plan is the first casualty of war.

Although on a more serious note I suggest just using a program that will display reminders at certain times in order to properly manage things on a tight schedule.

yeah, I have been using the note taking app on my phone. Just thought it would be a neat feature if it was implemented in the game. Or, like I said, at least the ability to send oneself messages through the Diplomatic screen.
I will occasionally use a piece of scrap paper and keep it with my mouse pad. Its a great high tech invention except when the pen runs out of ink.

Yes, very high tech, indeed.Peter Mat wrote:

Just be glad you don't have to chisel your reminders on stone tablets.
