so I think to make call of war more interesting there should be times where you can do like a single player campaign and in the campaign only you can. have a special feature that makes theme speed up like a arrow that says speed up by 1 hour a minute, so then if ur trips take 1 hour to produce then they will be done. call of wars quite slow so me an dry friends kinda quit so if this update was to happen id really appreciate and so would others with no doubt (definitely more Ethan that canvas update!) thank you,

Well the game call of war is meant to be slow in the first place. Many players like it because of the slow pace that Call of War has. Adding single player campaign would be hard and tedious for the developers to maintain and create. However, the main reason is that not many people would play it in the first place.
If you enjoy a game that has a faster pace you should play Hearts of Irons 4 or other similar games.
Try x4 speed round event or even x10 speed round.
They are frequented. Even if not every week started.

Yes! for those who are impatient, yet love this game.
That's odd, your friends could've just solely focused on games that's 4x (or above) faster. You're missing out, just try games that's 4x + faster.

I came here to suggest this too. The fact a faster game mode isn't able to be chosen outside of events means CoW would lose a lot of players who are interested but don't have the time to manage their empires for 8 hours a day.
I mean, the most dangerous time during CoW is when you sleep. Leaving the game unattended for 8 hours can be disastrous. No one wants to sleep, open the game when they wake up and find out they have lost 3/4 of their cities. I did that to some dude last night while he slept, you can't really counter that without sacrificing your ability to do anything else, ie; expansion early game.
Last time I played during speed events, I could never get a game because they were created at random intervals and always filled up far too quickly. That should showcase how popular the game mode would be.
The only reason I can think of, for the devs not to implement a faster game mode on a permanent basis, is that they really want people to play long games and desire using gold to speed up their progress.
To me, that's pretty horrid reasoning.
If you leave common game for 8 hours it can end bad. If you leave 4x speed for 4 hours it will end double so bad.
Already 6 hours on 4x are 24 ingame hours.
We need slower speed events, not boosted.
The reason speed events aren’t permanent have nothing to do with gold. They put too much strain on the servers.
