super heavy tanks

i propose a new unit idea that would fit perfectly with the secret unit tree. super heavy tanks. super heavy tanks where secret projects by countries to produce oversized tanks of extrordinary power. they where slow but mighty and would fit right into the game. not all countries had ideas for them but i have found 4 tanks that would fit perfectly with the 4 country unit range for the game. germany had the landkreuzer p. 1000 ratte which would fit right in with the german units. russia had the kv-6 whick would fit in with the russian units. france had the fcm f1 although not american it would fit perfectly with the allied units. and japan had the O-I whick would obviously fit in with the japanese tree. these would not need anymore upgrade for there are not many, just like the railway guns they only need one box . these units would greatly improve combat and make player even more happy if they where added. i hope people can agree with me and we can get these tanks. :)

Either torpedo bombers or fighter-bombers.

I was thinking fighter bombers, as it would show the progression towards Multi-role fighters in the late cold war. Also, it would be extremely useful on the Carriers. It deserves its own thread

No, I wouldn't think so. I think torpedo bombers would be better as the NB are a bit pants right now.

I've developed a new tactic for carriers, so i'd make use of both planes

Really? Please share, I'm using them like the US uses them.

Well, it's up to the devs, not us, to decide. And the devs seem busy at work with my beloved Paras!
They better bring marines with those paratrooper: The 'Infantry update' and after that, we need to agree on some sort of new plane.
My ideas:

  1. Rename 'Naval Bombers' to 'Maritime Patrol Aircraft', and make them extremely good against subs, and even making their patrol are bigger.
  2. Adding torpedo bombers, which would be very good against enemy ships, except maybe cruisers (high AA capability).

anyways back to super heavy tanks.....i just wanted my idea to be seen. if the devs like it then they may add it in for us. i am not gonna name all the rules and traits for it beacuse that is the devs options not mine. lots want it but its all up the the devs to make it happen. im glad that most people agree with the idea and i hope it is put in, but EVERYTHING is up to them.

Most poeple apart from Pablo (because he's an old guard member, they have issues :D )like the idea. Its generally one that should be explored

In current state of game classic heavy tanks are extremely rare units. Even medium tanks are not widely used. That is why I think that there would be no practical benefit from adding "super heavy tanks".

Quite true. So far (49 games played), in the games I've played I'm the only one who has used heavy tanks.
The past is a foreign country.

I've only ever employed Heavy tanks twice en-mass: both times to hold important fronts where I couldn't station the rest of my forces.

I conquered Russia with 10 heavy tanks. Took 10 days, bloody hell.

God, I went against someone playing as Russia who only used Heavies and Tank destroyers....that was agony

I invaded Russia, who had no troops, with ten heavy tanks. THAT was agony.
