i feel like this would be very hard to implement in the game but im following your thought process and think its a cool idea... would add quite a few new tactics to the game and even more things that commando and paratroopers could be used for
"Surrounded" Debuff
I propose introducing a new feature in Call of War: a debuff for completely surrounded enemy units. This debuff would reduce the health of surrounded soldiers by 5 HP every 30 minutes.
Implementing this feature would encourage players to use more genuine battlefield tactics, such as flanking and encirclement, enhancing the strategic depth and realism of the game. It would reward players who employ these tactics with a significant advantage, making the gameplay more dynamic and immersive.
I would love to hear any opinions or feedback.

I think it should go a little bit farther; there should be buffs for any bidirectional or more attack( flanking your enemy is warfare 101).
But then a defensive front should also get a buff for digging in. Sooooo I guess it kind of balances out.
I know,I know forts and bunks- not the same as a shoveled out hole. So no they donβt count.

The game works on a dot and line system it would not be suitable to implement more genuine battlefield tactics. The strategic depth and realism of the game is what it is at the moment, flanking and encirclement can still be executed. To perform a siege and wait for units to dry up of hp and die sounds lame. It's realistic yes for castle games but not for COW as it is.GingeAlmightyX wrote:

I agree itβs not a game given to tactics. More about building strategic armyβs with resource management thrown in.
Still I like it.
