Tank Destroyers and AT Inf

I've been playing this game for about a month now and the first thing i have to say is i love it. I hugely played Supremacy 1914 and when this came out i was so happy and excited. Now on to the Topic

I was looking through the Research tab and looking at all the cool stuff and planning on what i wanted to go for. Meanwhile in the game i was looking at the Research tab i was currently facing Italy as United Kingdom in France. We both had equal forces except i had more inf and he had about 1 more light and medium tank than me. Once i noticed i wouldn't win a equal fight i choose to fight in Paris since its urban. Now back to being on topic I was hating myself for not researching AT Guns and i saw that they have great defense against tanks but little offensive power against tanks. I can see why cause their heavy stationary guns. That's why i propose y'all introduce a new research line that branches off from the Medium Tank Line. For example the Sherman for the Americans was the basis for them creating TDs (Tank Destroyers) like the M4A2 76 and later on the Wolverine and Hellcat. I would love to see this made into the game because TDs where very important in WW2 for the allies. The Allies Armies were mainly composed of the Sherman Medium Tank which couldn't stand up against the Germans Heavy tanks like the Tiger I . So they created TDs to fight against these massively armored tanks. All countries used TDs in WW2: Germany: Jagdpanther, Stug III, Jagdtiger. USA: Sherman 76'', Wolverine, Hellcat. USSR: Su 100, Su 152, Su 85. British: Archer, Sherman Firefly, Tortoise. These are the main examples im sure you can find more for Italy, France, Yugoslavia, Sweden, and Turkey. If not just do what your doing now with where countries use other countries units like Turkey and USSR, Sweden and Italy using Germany's Units.

Stats wise for the TDs:

Strong attack against Tanks/Light Vehicles

Decent Defense against Tanks <----- Because TDs had thin armor

Weak against Inf <------- Thin Armor and some had open turrets like the Americans

Weak against Air

Weak against Naval

Decent attack against Inf <------ They still are Tanks with HE

Similar speed to the Medium Tanks because they have thin armor which allowed for mobility.

Since the TDs would only have decent defense against tanks it would still make AT Guns important in defending.

AT Inf:

Basically Inf with AT capabilities

Stats:

Decent against Tanks

Weak against everything else even other Inf.

Heavy tanks are the armoured vehicle anti-tank unit, and AT guns fill the role of the infantry AT unit, so both these fields do actually have units in them.

If you want something faster or for use in attack, then you can use tactical bombers.

It's a good post though.

The issue is AT guns have no good armor offensive power they are strictly just defensive units. Heavy tanks i guess you could say are good to counter armor but they come available day 24. That gives Medium and Light tanks 16 days before they actually countered.

Don't forget, the heavy tanks crawl along and slow down your army.

Exactly

I like this idea, since making armor is more economical many will spam them to win battles. AT guns are for defensive, and heavies are slow, tank destroyers could give use a counter measure to tanks without using tanks of our own, and the AT infantry can give us a cheap anti-tank unit that only cost grain and not steel or oil (manpower still counts).
