Yes, but the amount of tax should be able to be set per province.

Taxes
Taxes for each citizen in a country can be altered. It would increase your income, but lower your average morale based on how much you raise the taxes. If they are raised enough, a revolt could happen in the country. Also, when each game starts the taxes would be at a number for each country, if it is lowered than that number, the average morale would go up.

yea, so the morale in that specific province would change, but also there should be an option where you can do it to your whole country as well.

Setting the tax to 0 would help raise the morale of recently captured provinces faster.

yea, that's what i was thinking. Also, it could be that some provinces give off more money than other provinces even if they have the same tax because of their population. Obviously a city would give off more taxes than a plains province.
