It would be nice to have that. A bit complicated to develop most likely. Instead of rewriting each message, why not click the icon to the left of the trash one to copy it?
The alliance conversation .
Greetings ,I am Joseph
I have proposed an in-game suggestion . I often find myself having to send the same message to all in my IN-GAME alliances but have to write it over and over to send to different players in the game . I suggest having a closed in-game group conversation between all in a certain alliance or group , so one message can be shared between the alliance members in the closed group ...a closed in-game group chat with chosen players .
thank you.

Skype or Discord are very effective as an alliance chat.
Some people might not have them.
Mess with the Bill, you get the scorn!
All too true Bill. It can also be a PITA to get people onto them. I truly despise the team based map for that reason. The non-team maps allow much more flexibility in terms of both communication and alliance building. They are also superior in terms of recruiting. My overall advice is to avoid team-based maps for everything except pre-defined teams, internal alliance games, and challenges (of course).
All of that aside, the game does not support a chat system like the one described in the original post. That leaves us trying to find an alternative form of communication. Skype requires a player to create a user id and an app to support comms. Discord can be used in a web browser and doesn't require nearly as much to register.
