Spain is the only country I haven't played yet so I might not be getting this right just bear with me.
As far as I can tell Spain has no option but to go to war with France, with exception of Portugal of course. So that will mean that 9 times out of 10 Spain will have to attack France first. That puts France in a worse position than in s1914, at least in s1914 Spain might attack Morraco for OIL.
Comments? Am I totally clueless here?
I agree, France has a hard stand. Anyway, things like this make this game so interesting. Played France 3 time, kicked 2 times the enemies butts
Dont forget: France has lots of Food and rare materials-rocketstorm and Infantryrush
I'm currently playing France in one of my games, the first thing I notice is I have a lot of grain and rare materials for research, it's an odd position since there are 4 countries that will try to kill you (Germany,Spain,Italy,England) . Engalnd is a potential ally since he need to cross the English Channel to you and it would be wasteful for England to try a naval landing so early in the game, plus England don't have a lot of rare materials.
Also should this post be on the Q&A section on the forum and not on the S&C? It's also starting to become a strategy tread so I should stop.
