There needs to be a friending system in this game

I really do like this idea, I can't tell you how many times I've met these types of people. I don't know why Bytro hasn't made this a thing yet

Only a fraction of the playerbase uses discord. An ingame friend system is just different, more accessible and has far more reach.

Don't think it's a stretch to say it'll drive the average player count and playtime up as people tend to enjoy things more if they're doing it with a friend. A lot of players quit due to boredom, sometimes just a few days into a match, having a buddy surely would remedy that to some degree.

For Bytro, they could monetize this, give just 5 free friend slots and charge gold for additional slots.

It's a win win situation. More players and more things to spend gold on for Bytro. For players, a more lively experience and a non-game-influencing usage for gold. 1 gold spent for extra slots is 1 less gold available to taint matches.

I would also prefer a proper in-game chat and friend system because I make it a point not to use any social media. Only in the context of a video game, limited to the video game, and with no real-world ties of any kind.
