Third Research Slot

This might have been mentioned before but I think most large games need a third research slot. I understand that the goal of having two research slots is to ensure that gamers have to prioritize what kind of military they want to build but there are a lot of units in this game. In a lot of games most players don't even get to experience gaming with certain units because just two research slots is a bit restrictive.

Anyone want to add to this??
