I like your sig. Try trading, it will be worthwhile and invade the US too. A map update will do nothing for you now. I haven't played as Canada so I can't say much more.
Mess with the Bill, you get the scorn!
Canada loses food instantly soo could it have more food or should I invade Murica and get some food
Can't be bothered buying food or trading I was just wondering could we have more food in Canada

Ik but like for future could it be I play as Canada because Tactical advantages Ireland, Iceland and no Europe war to mess you up
It would be good for Canada to have more yummers. They are constantly updating the map though and this will probably be fixed.
why is Russia so far away..

Canada is only 1 food place
To keep the food off Canada's table.
That is too few.qwokadile wrote:

I swear people hate Canada and devs love to starve them
Hmm, well, they didn't really bother with it at the start.
You will obviously at some point have to invade the U.S., but there isn't much food resource there either. Same problem with Algeria, with which I am currently playing.
Don't you dis Algeria, that is a great place! If you can't win with it, you're a noob. BTW Pablo, weren't we meant to have a private one on one?
I am not sure that you understand. I have played as both, and there is a difference between them. Algeria starts with LOW food production, which can be worked around by upgrading food provinces with infrastructure and ICs, and shutting off barracks when they're not in use. Canada literally starts with NEGATIVE food production because they can't feed their starting armiesPablo22510 wrote:

Also, it doesn't help that the one food producer is basically a choke point into Canada. So yeah, that definitely needs to be fixed, or at least allow the disbanding of armies.
Not sure you understand either. They update the map a helluva lot, which I already said. In Pablo's game, Algeria probably has little to no food production too.salbalkus wrote:

I was just emphasizing how ridiculous it was that Canada cannot feed its own troops that it starts with, no need to take offenseButter Ball Bill wrote:

I didn't take offense. A lot of countries struggle with food.
NPC countries do yes but Canada is the only Player country with Negative food ProductionButter Ball Bill wrote:

I got some bad ones once.
I joined a game on day 4 as Canada and it took me days to get food production positive. By the time I got it positive and was able to conquer USA and South USA, everyone else had the rest of the world conquered...
... I know that the game isn't really set up along realistic lines s fa as resources go....but....well, Canada sure as a large grain, cattle and fishing industry....(also lumber but that is not too tasty unless you are a termite. "Well!? Are you!?") and has for some time! Pretty sure that Europeans were cruising over here to catch fish at one point(and likely scurvy.)
Too bad it isn't as you described it should be. I wish a could feed me Canadians some lumber as well lol.
