Tutorial vague ?

Okay over the past couple of days Ive explained all the basics on chat for new people I accidentally skipped the tutorial when I first joined the game which was and is very frustrating but I remember it being very vague for me I personally suggest putting some more detail in the tutorial since a lot of stuff wasnt put in when I first joined so maybe the call of war tutorial needs an update ? What do you think

I remember the tutorial telling me to produce more infantry regiments, if I had more food and manpower, and to build more interceptor squadrons if I still had metal and oil. I'm sure many, if not most, rookies over-produce infantry and fighters in the early part of the game as a result, and exhaust their food and oil reserves to the exclusion of producing other useful unit types.

I think it depends on how you learn. I learn mostly by reading, so I read a lot of the tips here in the forum during my first game. I was also able to relate this type of game to Starcraft which I was quite good at nearly two decades ago. It is all about the resources in order to build a grand army.

Some people might learn from the tutorial, and some might learn better from the video guides in the forums. Others need to learn by making mistakes. I learned fairly quickly that I could eliminate enemy units with my tac bombers, and realized that enemies could do the same to my units unless I was either more cautious or more prepared. And even then I was prepared for enemies with say 5 or 6 tac bombers and maybe a few interceptors. Then I encountered an enemy with 32 tac bombers and 18 interceptors who made those planes dance on patrol and nimbly split into small groups to efficiently destroy my units. I watched that enemy take nearly 80 of my ground units and all my planes in the course of one day. I did have 6 antiair per stack, and had 8 interceptors and 8 tac bombers of my own. My opponent simply had many more units than I did. I learned a lot watching my units getting destroyed, and have learned more about air combat since then, but any way you slice it a superior force is a superior force.

It took me awhile to take to get the hang of it but the tutorial doesnt answer a lot of questions that are key to winning the game

Also, what happens to the country you fight in the tutorial? I had French west Africa take Miami from me, and I only got to fight it on day 78. So can the tutorial leave you at war so you have more practice in the first place? on a side note (not realy) the tutorial teaches you how to us gold to spread propaganda in your home country. why can't it just teach you the useful things like split, delay and patrol?
