I have 2 issues to bring up, the first one is the number of troops in each unit and the second is manpower. First off, the number of troops in an infantry unit is around 1000. This messes up historic world war though, because Germany had almost 4 million soldiers which would be 4000 infantry units. But Germany only starts with like 200 troops at the beginning of the game. So unit count is off. The other thing is manpower. Why does a squadron (12 planes) cost 720 manpower when an infantry unit cost 800? 12 fighters = 12 pilots + whatever ground crew and stuff is necessary but that can't be 720 people for 12 planes... and it's not manpower to produce because there is no manpower required for construction... so why do we need 720 manpower to make a squadron???
I agree it should be revamped. Each infantry unit is more like a division rather than a regiment. Also, I suspect that one plane unit is definitely not a squadron. It would be more like fifty-one hundred planes. Another point is that a plane also requires ground crew and mechanics, not only the pilot.
This is what I thought too, but when you click on a single air unit it shows as a squadron and a squadron is 12 planes. I know ground crew and mechanics are included but 720 for 12 planes is a lotvietcong2005 wrote:

Please, it's just a game. Most planes in WWII needed metal, not just oil. Why aren't you complaining that the units are cheaper than normal? And when the Nazis were starting to lose the war, they could barely scrape kids to join the army, why don't you complain about that?
Planes take a lot of hours and manpower to be constructed, the airbases also require a lot of manpower to be constructed and maintained, there are flight operators, huge logistics behind it,...
