Unit Experience& Retreating &Dry drocks/Medical tents/units/engineers/mechanic garage
•
I do believe retreating should be added into the game, it should be a command in the army menu and should have a moral penalty to use, with the army being retreated from getting a moral buff
Units having having an experience system where they level up and become slightly more effective in combat would be cool and realistic ish, Since a veteran Infantry unit would be more effective then greenhorns just out of training
Drydocks: Repairs ships
Medical Tents:heals ground units
Medics: Slowly Heals ground units
Mechanics Garage: Heals armor units
Engineer: Slowly heals Armour units
Just some basic ideas that might improve core gameplay, Have fun and thanks for reading

Retreating should definitely been a thing. Units that heal other units has been discussed before, but I don't think buildings that heal units has (I assume Dry-docks, Medical tents, and Mechanics Garage are buildings). It is and interesting idea.
I think units being more efficient with experience is already in the game. I know that there is a thing that counts how many other units a unit has killed, and the State Based Damage Efficiency seems to go up the more units a unit has killed, but I am not 100% sure about that yet.
I made a poll so it will be easier to see If people support your ideas.

I don't like the retreating idea, the rest is fabulous.

These units are already included in regular infantry.

Yes but atm there is no way(That i have noticed) To regenerate a units hp, so no matter what you do they will just eventually die from being overused*Moral =/= hp*

In this game, strangely enough, morale does = HP.

Actually, that was wrong. There is HP, but you can't 'lose' it through fighting. It varies depending on terrain type. Morale is the only thing that I know of that goes down from fighting and that regenerates on it's own. I think it would be nice for there to be some buildings that make it go up faster, though.

Whoa, so the older a unit is, the worse it becomes?

That's what I think they're saying.

If you click on a unit you can see how much HP it has left, Moral only effects the battle effectiveness of the unit not how much HP it has,(a unit with 100% Moral does 100% of its damage per turn while 50% moral will only do 50%)

Ok, @Martiz McRae, but what you are saying means that the more a troop fights, the worse it becomes?

You're wrong. HP follows morale level.
If you have one inf unit at 93% and one unit at 100%, the first will have 14 HP the other will have 15 HP.
They also loose fighting strength in line with morale.
So yes, the more a unit fights the weaker and worse it becomes, but the morale will heal over time.
