Unnerf: Submarines

No way! The fact that convoys have some defense against subs is great, because a sub single-handedly sinking 37 ships is not realistic. And if we can't have convoys moving while attacked by a sub, we'll have this.

Yeah Czar, I gotta disagree with you here.

I think he's talking more about keeping the Submarine's strength, since I believe it has lost a few decimal points worth.

As it is other units (naval and convoy) are becoming better at defending themselves against subs. Or he could be talking about the increased upkeep of the subs.

Personally, I have no opinion of the submarine nerf, I'll have to play it out to see how it affects my playstyle.

I believe this to be a mere knee-jerk reaction.....noone has had chance to play test the changes yet and as such noone should be complaining...yet

Just took out a convoy of 10 without taking a single hitpoint, single sub, I don't think it's even been out in

I however, hit it as it was about to finish embarking, so I don't know if that affected it.

Same here, but I think the nerf was much needed. The sub had become the equavalent of the s1914 arty - dont bother to build anything else for naval units

I disagree slightly. You can stop any pack of subs with 30 DD, 5 CC and 20 BB.
