Usually you donβt cancel when you move after starting an upgrade though, and they warn you if something like that happens.

it still would be better

What would? If it doesnβt cancel when you try to move? Usually it just says it will start moving after the upgrade. What happened?TheZhukov wrote:

Just go back to making upgrades non cancelable. It's not necessary. And it's too easy to move the wrong unit and tap the front button.
Perhaps an option to simply disable canceling instead? It makes total sense to have the ability to cancel and itβs both realistic and helpful at times to have it. To be honest removing it isnβt the best idea. Having a list of advanced settings for stuff like this is the best compromise overall, and makes the dilema of people who do vs do not want it solvable.z00mz00m wrote:

I set a move order for my battleships to bombard the coastCarking the 6th wrote:

then i decided to sink a 50 plane carrier fleet across the ocean, so i cancelled the move order
and it cancelled

But it gives you a warning that it will cancel the upgrade and youβll lose your resources. If you want to move somewhere else after upgrading then you just use another move order. Itβs not too hard to get around.TheZhukov wrote:

Then that must be a glitch. Itβs more likely it was a bug rather than something that was supposed to happen.TheZhukov wrote:

Well you said you CANCELLED the move order... do you mean "Stop" button? Cause that might cancel the upgrade. Just issue a different move order instead.TheZhukov wrote:

For example Iβm upgrading my battleship, itβs in the middle of upgrading and you decide to move it to another area, it is supposed to wait until upgrading is over. But using the command now wastes the upgrade and starts moving.K.Rokossovski wrote:

That change was reversed a couple of weeks ago?
Hmmm, but this thread seems to mention this.
I just tested this with one of my units. It worked just fine. Itβs the this more of a bug?
