Upkeep (Suggession)

So basically what does artillery do ? It fires shells. In this game there is no concept of ammunitions so if i create a artillery squad on day 1, I can keep using it until the end of the game but irl one needs to get ammunitions made. So i suggest adding a daily upkeep of metal to all kinds of ranged weapons (artillery , spartillery , rrg ,battleships ,cruisers and destroyers) accounting for fired shots. In fact I would suggest adding a minimal metal upkeep say 20/30 for infantary,

50/75 for tanks and 'ranged' weapons. Let me know your comments regarding this idea. Btw i think adding this could limit players sticking more to the infantary tech making the game more historically accurate.

I agree, Goods could be considered as weaponry, ammunition, medical supplies, and other military equipment. Although, oddly enough now that I think of it, none of the units consume Goods for daily upkeep. Which would make more sense than using manpower as a daily upkeep.

Manpower should realistically only be used when the unit is healing (replacing dead soldiers), and building units.

I think It should be seperated

Manpower =to heal

Goods= to heal and attack/defend

Food =to do everything

Oil to move

Everything is fine as it is. All they would need to do is;

- Include Goods to the daily upkeep.

- Only allow manpower consumption for unit healing and unit production.

ı agree

Remember, if that happens, there will need to be a big rebalancing which means resource production will need to increase as well as other upkeep decreases.

I mean, now that food is needed for researching technology. I happily welcome a rebalance.

I agree it will definitely be more strategic because right now, 1.5 is not as strategic as that is what the game is supposed to be about.
