I would like this for ALL devices.
Wait Times
Having a unit wait is an incredibly important function for multi-pronged attacks on a single target. Particularly on Mobile, setting the wait time correctly is frustrating - especially if the time you need to make a unit wait is only a minute or two. I suggest adding custom wait times. A box you could optionally fill out, Example "xx:xx:xx". That way you can set your own wait time down to the second, instead of dragging the slider over and over again until it finally decides to stay where you placed it. Extend this function to all of Bytros games, plox
. At least for the mobile players.

Yeah. Freezy (one of the devs) was charmed a while ago by + and - buttons for the wait, so we may actually see that soon.
I've played other RTS games that allow you to set the arrival time, but there is a random +/- amount of time included, to prevent precise, down-to-the-second coordination of the arrival of disparate units.
That is, an amount of uncertainty is added to the coordination of movement of multiple stacks of units.
I think this is a good idea, frankly. I think that all movement should have a little uncertainty included, some percentage.
For example, say 10% variation, if you plot a given movement from Point A to Point B as 03:42:17 and then give the command to move, upon arrival at the destination the final time elapsed would be within the range 03:20:00 to 04:04:30 (approximately).
The computers at Bytro could easily implement this real-time (perhaps with 1-second internal 'clicks' to recalculate arrival times).
I'm well aware this proposition will irritate many or most current players. But the other side of the coin is that luck is a part of war; the game already has a +/- 20% damage variable included for combat.
I'm not heavily invested in this proposal, I'm just throwing it out there as part of the conversation in this thread.
I'm for OP's proposal and very opposed to introducing randomness into delays and travel times.
I think the most common uses of delay and syncing are to have two separate stacks combine just before attacking (attacking as one) and to delay an arrival until after the enemy stack has been eliminated via something like a ranged attack. In both those cases, precision is required, and randomness would completely eliminate those tactics and make gameplay require much more micro management.
I think this would be very useful. The slider is annoying enough to use with a mouse, and I've long given up trying to sync times up properly, and I can imagine how much worse it is on mobile.
Having either text boxes you can enter the time into or drop-down menus for hours, minutes and seconds you want to delay for would be so much easier.

If you want to sync two different stacks to arrive somewhere simultaneously, do this:
- Select both (or all three etc) stacks with lasso or control-click;
- Click move or attack and select the destination;
- Click delay. Don't touch the slider and click OK.
The farther stack will receive a very short wait (seconds) and the closer stack will be adjusted to arrive a few seconds apart, close enough to join stacks when attacking a unit there.
A word of warning though: I have seen several cases where ONE of those stacks performs a single combat round with the target, BEFORE both stacks and merge and fight the NEXT round together.
