Especially on Antarctica map it would be useful, in late stage of game, but not only.
A new tab, in diplomacy area, where after clicking we would see list of countries as in normal diplomacy view, in rows, but there would be column of "War" and flags of countries, which it has war with. Then "Embargo", then right of way, peace and share map. Some of the info are available in newspaper (like embargo or war) some we may know from spies (then in should be showed shadowed as old one).
This tab and this view would make it easier to understand the situation and network of wars allies and so on.
We can see who has war with player, when going to each profile. But it would be easier to solve this puzzle out, seeing everything in one view, in a new tab

Something like this.
New tab with seeing all relations under it (peace also but as the last on right, cause there usually will be the most of flags, and rarely it gives some valuable info)

So, you are requesting to see if your enemy, say it's Texas, has Shared Map with Mexico. That way, you know whether he has Allies, who his Allies are, and if he has RoW with Nevada and can attack you?

I would not want my row or share map relations public. Some things are intended to be secrets. Spies will turn this data up if you are patient.
You can already see who a country is at war with.
This idea is going in the definitely not category.

Read this carefully: "Some of the info are available in newspaper (like embargo or war) some we may know from spies (then in should be showed shadowed as old one)." Vorlon too, casue both of You misunderstand idea.
It's not about having more info. It's about having all diplomatic info well seen in one tab.
Stick an intelligence spy in the other player's capital, or better yet, in an outlying province where he is unlikely to have any counter-espionage spies, and you will get a complete list of his allies, ROW partners, and enemies every two to four days as part of your intelligence report for that country.VorlonFCW wrote:

It's been a while since I used it last, but I believe the same information is provided when you spend 650 gold units for country information via the espionage menu.
Sorry, Vorlon, there are few secrets in this game if your opponent knows how to use the available espionage resources. Yet another reason why I will not use in-game comms when I am planning a campaign with allies.
