Ok so I myself am pat Italiano. I am mighty proud of that and always choose Italia as my nation in Call of war. Yet we only have GERMAN UNITS! It in my opinion is an outrage. How could you do this? I would like to see an implement of Italian units please! I even got a great idea for one of the commando units name. It should be the Alpine Corps. I mean who would like to see this do so in the poll below.

Italians have much to be proud of, unfortunately WWII, isn’t one of those things.
While you could make an argument the allied doctrine is US, the Comintern doctrine is USSR, pan Asian is Japan, and axis is Germany. I just don’t see creating another doctrine just for Italy.

He didn't mean doctrine, he meant units, but under axis.

That doesn’t make sense either. Why would one country get unique graphics but not others?

Yes, that's exactly the problem why this cannot be done.

But the German tech tree has a king tiger tank which never even got off the drawing board! How come they have this and are not challenged while my P-40 tank is so to be said a failure when it was compared to be exactly like the powerful T-34 tank!

T34 individually is a piece of garbage, the power of the t 34 comes on the production level lol, p40 only produced on small numbers.

While I think that experimental units should be kept out of tech trees, what choice did Bytro have? Germany didn't have enough units to fill the tree. Just like how Germany never finished a single aircraft carrier and yet they have a full research tree. This is out of necessity. You cannot use this as a reason to add an entire new nation. I get that you're proud of your heritage, but this simply isn't a possible thing for Bytro to do, and it would be a strictly aesthetic change. It's a useless and difficult thing to impliment.

Repeat that to a 101st veteran of Bastogne (or a Soviet soldier from Seelow Heights for that matter) and you'll not walk for a couple of weeks.
Tiger II's were used in ww2. You may be thinking of the E-100 (basically maus 2), which is a superheavy tank.

Maybe instead of creating a separate doctrine just for Italians, having a sub-category of axis that is split by country? The units would be the same, same statistics/research, but just having Italian models for the units instead of German models for all axis countries? I don't think it needs to be super intricate, per se. For example, if I'm playing Sweden, instead of the iron cross on tanks/planes and stuff, putting the Swedish three crowns. It would sort of make more sense for roleplaying because Sweden wasn't actually an axis country.

It was the Pz.Kpfw.Lowe and it did not get off the drawing board. It was calle d the king tiger.

Jeez man... do your research! You're confusing two tanks here.
"Königstiger" is German for King Tiger. It certainly DID get off the drawing board, entering service in the summer of 1944. Around 500 were built.

Ach. Well still. I think um about tomorrow I think I shall have a whole document on why we should have Italian units. And I also shall put in their an explanation on the allied units.

I dont want to argue with you over which army is superior but theere simply wouldn't be a point of developing a doctrine for Italy if on a 100p map 3-4 nations would have this doctrine, doctrines that would make more sense are France or Britain as they had far larger colonies and so more nations could use these doctrines.
While this method of implementation might not be entirely practical it doesn't mean that bytro won't add more doctrines in future updates to the game. Not to say every country would get their own personal doctrines but an Italian doctrine focused on plain and mountain fighting with small buffs and debuffs either overall or on specific units, particularly armoured units, along with a British Doctrine focused on air and sea warfare with draw backs on infantry units would be a nice change of pace while opening new strategic challenges.

If you do that, you'll need to create a tree for the UK, France, China, possibly Romania, Hungary and Yugoslavia. Basically every country that played a role in the war, and for the a lot of them a more important one than Italy to be honest. I mean hell, if we're going to have an Italian tree I insist we get a Greek tree as well, so that we get a hard counter lol.
In conclusion, while it'd be cool to have more different nation trees, the current trees are fine as it is and work well, along with having a really good aesthetic. I don't see why we should have a tree for a single nation out of a hundred playable.

Well, my feeling...I would like to see a "UK/Commonwealth" tech tree implemented before most any other. An Italian tech tree would be nice as they did develop a lot of their own tech separately from the Germans, notably shipping, armoured units and air units.
I also think that improvements could be made to the images and units described in the research menus...using more common unit types instead of the exotic stuff that was never used in battle. I think such an improvement would be fairly simple to do and not need any impact on game play.
