I recently joined a 1939 historical ww map and I noticed the borders of Afghanistan are wrong. Here is a picture of the borders:
The red lines in the image is approximately the appropriate border for that time period (1939).
As you can see there are several mistakes, the most prominent being that they forgot to include the "panhandle" on the right side. Also the borders with Russia are extremely off.
But, why did the devs do this? Was it a mistake? Does it have to do with Xingjiang being a country? Or was it on purpose, or from another time period? I think the devs should change this next time they modify this map.
I am not sure why to devs did not add the panhandle, as they added the Namibia panhandle.
