Attention Commanders,
This update introduces expanded faction balancing, improved mission progression, and continued stability improvements. If the update is not applied automatically, please restart your client or update manually to the latest version.
Balancing Changes
These balancing changes apply only to new matches started after the update.
• Faction-exclusive unit bonuses now become available earlier and scale further into the late game, making each faction's strengths more distinct throughout a match. For example, some bonuses that previously increased from +10% to +50% now scale from +30% to +70%.
• Added deployment time and upkeep cost bonuses for Genestealer units to help keep them competitive against the strengthened playable factions.
• Corrected Astra Militarum faction bonuses for affected units to ensure they receive their intended faction benefits.
• Increased the impact of terrain on gameplay by increasing most movement speed and view range bonuses and penalties to 25%, making terrain effects more impactful during battles. Movement penalties in enemy territory have also increased from 70% to 75%.
• Reduced repetitive move, attack, and split command objectives to make mission progression smoother and less repetitive.
Changes
• Refined tutorial mission progression to improve pacing and overall onboarding flow.
Fixes
• Fixed an issue that could cause aircraft to be destroyed incorrectly when attacked while refuelling.
• Corrected War Pact army labels and movement arrows to display the intended blue colour for improved visibility.
• Addressed several stability issues to reduce crashes and improve overall gameplay stability.
