Suggestion: Horus Heresy (30k) Game Mode & Map Scenario

Hey everyone,

The current 40k setting is fantastic, but Supremacy's grand strategy mechanics are practically begging for a Horus Heresy (30k) scenario map. The 31st Millennium offers a completely different theater of war that fits the alliance-building, betrayal, and massive frontline combat of this game perfectly.

Here is how a 30k mode could elevate the game:

  • Legion vs. Legion Warfare: Instead of the current faction divides, players would take command of the 18 original Space Marine Legions, the Mechanicum, or the Solar Auxilia. This levels the playing field to pure Astartes-versus-Astartes combat, focusing on tactical superiority and grand strategy rather than asymmetrical Xenos matchups.

  • Unique Legion Doctrines: Each of the 18 Legions has a distinct warfare style that translates perfectly to Supremacy's doctrine mechanics. The Emperor's Children could receive speed and elite infantry buffs, the Iron Warriors could have superior siege artillery, and the Alpha Legion could receive espionage bonuses.

  • Clean, Uncorrupted Aesthetics: Before the heavy mutations and demonic possessions of the 41st Millennium, the Legions fought in master-crafted plate. This mode would allow players to field visually pristine, disciplined armies—a huge draw for those of us who prefer the martial perfection and uncorrupted pride of the Great Crusade era.

  • Primarchs as Elite Commanders: Just as we have heavy elites now, each faction could access their Primarch as a singular, massively powerful late-game unit to anchor a frontline, boost local morale, or break a devastating stalemate.

A 30k map would bring unparalleled diplomacy, inevitable betrayals, and incredible roleplay potential to the Supremacy community.

Would love to hear what the community and the devs think about implementing a Horus Heresy era map!
