Dynamic Map Labels: Scaling & Shrinking Country Names
Dear Staff,
Could you please implement a dynamic scaling for country names on the map so that text size and position adapt in real time to a nation's expanding or shrinking borders, eventually fading out upon complete elimination.
Details:
Dynamic Scaling: As a player's territory expands or contracts, the country name printed on the map should automatically resize and realign to fit within the nation's remaining geographic bounds.
Shrinking under Invasion: When a country is being actively invaded and loses provinces, its map label should continuously shrink to match its remaining contiguous landmass.
Disappearance on Elimination: Once the last province or capital of a nation is captured, the country name should smoothly shrink down and fade out entirely, cleanly reflecting its defeat on the global map.
Why this would improve gameplay:
Clarity & Immersion: Players can immediately assess a war's status and front lines visually without huge, static labels cluttering regions that have already been lost.
Visual Feedback: Provides a satisfying visual reward during offensive pushes and a clear, realistic map aesthetic similar to historical grand strategy games.
