Half-Day Games?

It would be great if there were some games that only run for 12 hours each day on a schedule and are frozen for the other 12 hours/day. For 4x speed and up this would help a lot with incorporating games with work and sleep schedules etc. But the regular 12hr/day games could run at 2x speed so they don't take any longer to win than regular games. Any thoughts?
