On August 12th, Season 2: Tip of the Spear begins, and with it comes a new weapon for commanders who refuse to wait. The Light Artillery brings ranged firepower to the early stages of the war, allowing ambitious nations to break defenses, support rapid advances, and seize the initiative before heavier weapons ever reach the front.

What is The Light Artillery

The Light Artillery is a brand-new producible unit that delivers ranged fire much earlier than traditional Artillery. While it trades some range and destructive power for mobility, it makes up for it by arriving when it matters most: at the dawn of the conflict.

Fast, flexible, and deadly, it gives aggressive commanders a powerful new tool to dominate the early game.

Tactical Role

The Light Artillery excels at breaking the deadlock before it begins.

Bombard enemy armies from a safe distance, soften up defensive positions, and let your frontline troops advance against weakened resistance. Every shell fired before the assault is another advantage earned.

On defense, Light Artillery forces your opponents to think twice before charging. A reckless advance can quickly turn into a costly retreat when every step forward is met with accurate artillery fire.

Whether you're launching the first offensive or holding a critical chokepoint, Light Artillery ensures your enemy pays dearly for every move.

How to unlock the Light Artillery

There are three ways to permanently unlock the Light Artillery

• Light Artillery Battle Pass: Advancing through the premium lane of this Battle Pass will unlock the Light Artillery as well as grant you plenty other rewards.
• Direct Purchase: You can also directly purchase the Light Artillery through the shop.

This season you will also be able to earn the unlock for the seasonal unit through placing high enough on the Season Leaderboard in the new ranked season Tip of the Spear. You'll be able to check out the seasonal leaderboard in our unity client: Supremacy 1914: Definitive Edition.
