The battlefield continues to evolve, and Season 21 is bringing even more ways to strengthen your forces, defend your territory, and earn valuable rewards.
This Mid-Season Update introduces Valeria "Falco" Rossi, a new Officer specializing in airborne warfare, alongside the Forward Fortification, a defensive structure designed to reinforce your front lines and slow enemy advances.
We're also introducing the Battle Pass, a brand-new seasonal progression system that rewards you for completing missions and playing the game, with new milestones, exclusive rewards, and more ways to make your progress count.
Whether you're launching surprise assaults behind enemy lines, holding your ground against advancing forces, or working toward your next reward, there's plenty to look forward to.
Valeria "Falco" Rossi
A new Officer is preparing to take the battlefield on the 19th October.
Introducing Valeria “Falco” Rossi, an Italian airborne warfare specialist built for commanders who prefer to strike where the enemy least expects it.
Airborne forces already offer some of the greatest tactical flexibility on the battlefield, allowing commanders to bypass traditional frontlines and rapidly deploy forces into critical positions. Their mobility, however, comes at a cost: once the fighting begins, airborne formations can lack the direct combat power of heavier ground forces.
Falco changes that equation.
Designed as a veteran-focused specialist, Falco strengthens airborne formations and enables commanders to build around a highly mobile “tip of the spear” strategy. Under her command, airborne units become considerably more dangerous after deployment, creating new opportunities for aggressive assaults, rapid reinforcement and deep strikes behind enemy lines.

The Battle Pass
We're excited to introduce a brand new way to earn rewards and progress through each season: the Battle Pass.
The Battle Pass will also be going live on the 19th October, giving you a new way to earn valuable rewards simply by playing the game, completing missions, and progressing through seasonal content.
Designed to reward active participation throughout the season, the Battle Pass gives you more ways to make your progress count and earn rewards along the way.
A New Way to Progress Through the Season
The Battle Pass is a progression system built around completing missions and earning Battle Honors. As you collect Battle Honors, you'll advance through milestone levels and unlock rewards along the way.
Rather than waiting until the end of a season to earn the biggest rewards, you'll now receive a steady stream of rewards throughout your journey.

Introducing the Forward Fortification
A new defensive structure is coming to the battlefield!
We're excited to introduce the Forward Fortification, a brand-new free static unit designed to strengthen your front lines, slow down enemy advances, and give you more time to react when your territory comes under attack.
Following the introduction of the Coastal Battery, Radar Station, and Air Defence Platform, the Forward Fortification brings another layer of defence to your provinces, giving you more ways to protect key positions and prepare for incoming threats.
Alongside this new unit, we're also introducing changes to Military Logistics, bringing new strategic opportunities to both defence and troop movement.
A New Way to Defend Your Front Lines
The Forward Fortification is built for defence, offering high hit points and low attack power. Rather than dealing heavy damage, its main purpose is to slow down advancing enemy forces and buy you valuable time to respond.
The Forward Fortification gives you another way to strengthen your defensive positions, whether you're reinforcing a vulnerable border, protecting an important province, or preparing for an incoming attack.
While it won't stop powerful enemy units on its own, combining it with other defensive structures can create a much stronger frontline. Pairing it with the Air Defence Platform, for example, allows you to reinforce your positions against both ground and aerial threats.
This gives you more flexibility in how you defend your territory, especially when you're away from the battlefield.
Research and Upgrades
The Forward Fortification will be available to all players without requiring any initial research, allowing you to start building your defences immediately.
For Commanders looking to strengthen their positions further, additional upgrades will be available through the National Guard tech tree.
The Forward Fortification features:
- No initial research required
- Four levels in total
- Further upgrades through the National Guard tech tree
- Low construction costs, making it easier to reinforce multiple positions
With its focus on durability rather than offensive power, the Forward Fortification offers an accessible way to establish defensive positions without committing large amounts of resources.
Introducing Changes to Military Logistics
Alongside the Forward Fortification, we're also making changes to how static defensive units are constructed.
Static units will be moving away from Combat Outposts and into the Military Logistics system, giving provinces a more important role in your overall strategy.
Military Logistics will now feature three levels, each providing different movement speed bonuses to your units.
These changes will allow you to:
- Deploy reinforcements faster: Take advantage of movement speed bonuses to get your troops where they're needed.
- Build static defences through Military Logistics: Construct your defensive units without relying on Combat Outposts.
- Strengthen your provinces: Create defensive positions while improving the movement of your mobile forces.
- Plan around enemy infrastructure: Military Logistics will no longer be concealed, allowing you to identify enemy positions and develop strategies to counter them.
By combining troop mobility with defensive construction, Military Logistics will play a greater role in how you prepare, reinforce, and protect your territory.
