The war is over. The borders are settled. Europe is stable.
At least, that is the official position.
Following the devastation of World War II, a new order has taken shape across the continent. The Soviet Union stands ready to secure its influence in the west, while the former Allies regroup behind newly drawn borders. Peace has returned to Europe, and there is absolutely no reason to question how long it will last.
Minor reports of political unrest are, of course, greatly exaggerated.
Red Dawn begins on August 26, 2026, introducing the new Red Rising scenario to Call of War. Enter a post-war Europe, where 19 players clash in a 12x-speed Free For All and every border is only as permanent as the army defending it.
Europe has a new order. Everything is under control.
The horrors of World War II have come and gone. New borders have been drawn, new governments established, and old alliances repurposed for a very different world. The Soviet position is clear: unity remains strong, confidence remains high, and the march west continues according to plan.
There have merely been a few administrative complications. A failed coup attempt here. A small regional invasion there. A disagreement between neighboring governments that has, regrettably, required several armored divisions to resolve… and also substantial quantities of artillery fire.
Nothing that should concern you. Business as usual.
Meanwhile, the Western Allies face problems of their own. Old partnerships are strained by conflicting interests, and attempts to build a unified response are producing more meetings than victories.
The situation remains manageable. Probably.
Red Rising turns post-war Europe into a Free For All
In the new Red Rising scenario, there are no comfortable blocs waiting to carry you to victory. Europe has splintered, and every commander has their own vision for what comes next.
Nineteen nations enter the struggle. Only the strongest will determine the new order.
- 19 players compete across post-war Europe.
- Battles unfold at 12x game speed.
- The scenario follows a Free For All format.
- East Germany joins Call of War as a new playable country.
“Comrades, the five-year plan has been revised to five minutes.”
At 12x speed, there is little time for five-year plans. Front lines can move rapidly, opportunities disappear quickly, and yesterday's useful neighbor may become today's urgent military concern. Shared ideology may offer a convenient talking point, but it will not protect your capital.
Political unity has therefore been postponed until further notice.
Commanders will need to expand quickly, exploit weak neighbors, and decide carefully who can be trusted. A temporary agreement can secure one front, but there are no permanent friends in a Free For All.
Will you restore Soviet glory and carry the red tide across the continent? Will you become a paragon of the western liberal democracies? Or will you abandon old loyalties entirely and build a new European order under your own flag?
In Red Rising, ideology may decide where you begin. Survival decides what happens next.
Advance through Operation Red Dawn
The struggle extends beyond the battlefield.
During the event, you can take part in Operation Red Dawn. Progress through the Operation Goals to unlock rewards as you fight your way through the event. Check the Operations window in-game for full details on objectives and progression.
Don’t forget to check on the Collectibles section in the shop, for new event themed avatars that level up your player profile.
Need additional resources for the campaign? You can also bolster your armies by acquiring the Red Dawn Crate from the shop.
Because when the entire European security architecture has collapsed, additional supplies rarely hurt.
The Red Dawn is scheduled for August 26…
…and surely there will be no complications. None at all. Just a short military operation.
Red Dawn runs from August 26 through September 20, 2026, giving commanders 25 days to enter the new post-war struggle.
The old alliances are failing. The Soviet Union is cracking from within. The old world has abandoned diplomacy in favor of a much louder method of border negotiation.
Government officials can no longer conceal the obvious: The situation is completely out of control.
Excellent.
Enter Red Rising, choose your country, and fight to decide what rises from the ruins.
