Call of War
From July 2 to July 30, Call of War invites commanders to join Welcome to America, a special Independence Day event built around the new Homeguard event map. Set across the North American continent, Homeguard imagines an alternate history in which Axis and Pan-Asian forces have invaded the American heartland. Their columns advance. Their banners rise. Their confidence grows.
And yet… They have overlooked one small detail.
They have invaded a land where liberty is defended stubbornly, and with a level of enthusiasm that cannot always be described as tactically conventional.
A Presidential Address
My fellow citizens,
The enemy offers us submission. We answer with liberty, and if liberty is not on the table, we will bring our own trucks, our own flags, and enough firepower to make the table reconsider.
They believed that when they crossed our borders, we would lose our nerve. They believed our towns would bend, our people would scatter, and our spirit would crack under pressure.
They were wrong.
There are moments in history when a nation is tested. Moments when the ground shakes, the horizon darkens, and an enemy makes the grave mistake of believing that freedom can be intimidated into silence.
For our freedom is not merely an idea. This is a continent-sized declaration of independence with roads running through it. This is a people who have never confused comfort with surrender. This is a nation where even the quiet places become loud in a hurry.
We will meet them in the cornfields. We will meet them on the county roads. We will meet them at the gas stations, the diners, the motels, and every last porch with a flag on it.
Let every invader learn what happens when they mistake our hospitality for weakness.
Ask not whether your country has called. Look outside. The sirens are doing that for us.
